Why did you decide to study in Japan?

Ever since I saw the Japan country showcase in the Epcot park in Disney World Florida, I have been interested in visiting Japan. After I grew my interest in Japan during a vacation in 2019, I decided to come for a longer period of time in order to experience life here. Language school and teaching English were the 2 most feasible options, so I chose language school for the extra free time.

Why did you decide to attend FFLC?

I wanted to go to a middle sized city with lots of nearby nature, and Fukuoka was particularly attractive with both the ocean and hiking within a short distance. The tuition fee of FFLC was also very competitive, and reviews had mentioned that the teachers are kind and care about their work (this was very true).

Since graduation, what kinds of experiences and knowledge gained at FFLC are you using, and how?

Japanese language ability I use at work (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) is obvious, but moreso I have come to really appreciate the relationships I built with students and teachers. I still keep in touch with many of the close friends I met at FFLC, even after they have returned home to their own countries, and I have countless fond memories of the year I spent in Fukuoka.

What do you like about FFLC?

I like that there are people of various nationalities. There were many opportunities to interact with international students in joint classes and events, where we could talk about each other's language and culture.

What did you focus on when you were in school?

I actively participated in events and focused on the acquisition of certifications. There were various events throughout the year, and I was looking forward to seeing what kind of international students I could make friends with, so I actively participated in them.

What is your future job description?

Initially, I will be in charge of ARRIVALS and LOUNGE.
I will use English in many situations, such as in dealing with aviation terminology and with customers from overseas, and I would like to make use of the English skills I have cultivated at FFLC.

Please give a message to those who are considering enrolling at FFLC.

Enrolling in FFLC has broadened my vision for my future. It is also a good environment where I can make friends not only from Japan but also from many other countries. Let's get together and become a global family!

Why did you decided to study in Japan?

The trigger was Japanese electronics. from an early age I was intrigued as to why the rest of the world applauded electronics made in Japan, especially for its ease of use and its long life as compared to counterparts made from other countries. Eventually I got exposed to anime, which in turn exposed my top Japanese lifestyle and culture. after learning that the Japanese language was one of the most difficult ones to learn in the world, I decided to start the challenge to master that as an additional skill. during that endeavor, I realized that it would be extremely beneficial to my growth if I had to learn Japanese in Japan directly, and hence my decision for studying abroad came into play.

Why did you decided to enroll in FFLC?

To be honest, I was introduced to FFLC by a friend. After making a couple of comparisons related to locale and type of courses offered, the career course offered by FFLC greatly matched what I was specifically looking forward to learn. a course directly catered to help one to easily adapt to Japanese work culture while improving your Japanese AND be able to have a fun school life? FFLC made this decision pretty easy for me to make.

After graduation, what kinds of experiences and knowledge gained at FFLC are you using ,and how?

Aside from the crucial pronunciation, work ethics, computer proficiency classes (extremely helpful),A the practical use of formal speech and it’s practice I’d honestly what I’m extremely glad I learnt before I got to working here in Japan. as my current job includes international trade, the trading knowledge I learnt while in FFLC greatly helps every day at work.
