Joint Lecture for English Course and Intl. Career Course, February 15th
Feb 26, 2024
This is a joint class held on February 15th (Thursday) between International Career Course international students and Japanese English students (Practical Career Development students).
We reflected on president Uematsu’s class, “What are people living for?” etc. Then we had a group discussion on “What will you do after graduation?” 😊 The graduating seniors said “Job searching in Japan is very difficult unlike in my home country💦” and hearing this, the juniors said “I’m worried about job searching next year now😭” and many other things were said. However, the seniors did not give up and worked hard to find companies that they are satisfied with. ✨
I was also shocked to hear a student from Myanmar say 😭”Myanmar government has made a decision to impose military service obligation on men and women from 18 to 35 years old!” A student from Myanmar said. 😭”I even got a flight ticket to go back home for spring break for the first time in years, but now I can’t go back. If I go back, I might not be able to go back to Japan anymore. 😭”
Let’s connect the world with the mindset of “We are a global family!” in the hope that there will be no more fighting in the world!!🌏🌈❤️
